Our Business Area and Location - Magnum Dental Ltd is one of Estonia's major whole-sellers and distributors of dental products and equipment. The company has four departments, that deal with the selling and marketing of human medicines, dental goods and equipment, dental laboratory equipment and disinfecting products.

We hace our head-quarters in Tartu and a division in Tallinn. The geographically strategic position of Tartu, right in the middle of Estonia, was the most important reason for us to establish our head-quarters there. Most of the administration is situated in Tartu and so is most of our stock. In Tallinn we rent a nice warehouse and for our Tallinn customers we offer the possibility to order directly from our telephone-sellers there.

Our History - As Estonia became independent in 1991, the possibility to form private enterprises arose. Magnum Dental was, as it was founded in 1993, the first privately owned distributor of dental goods in Estonia. Since then many competing companies have established themselves on the market but Magnum Dental still remains the most experienced one.

We have been at the same address in Tartu since 1993, but we have expanded and bought the neighbouring house as well. Before the spring 1995 we had a truck running on daily bases between Tartu and Tallinn servicing the customers in the Estonian capital. As deman rose, this arrangement became more and more unpractical and to serve our Tallinn customers in smoother and faster way we decided to establish a Tallinn division. Nowadays we can provide as fast service for our customers in Tallinn as we can for our customers in Tartu.

Our Sales - The sales of Magnum Dental are continuously growing and this year at a faster rate than ever.

Our Employees - We presently employ about 35 people, of which about 20 work in Tartu. Our staff is widely known for being very friendly and well informed about our products and 60% of them have a university degree.

Our Product Information - WEvery week we develop a new price-list that includes information about new products and distribute it to our customers all over Estonia. The list is most comprehensible, with the products listed first in alphabetical order. All our products are labelled in Estonian in a good and clear way.
